Closing points of 2019

Hello guys! It’s been a whole month after Anthropomachy’s official release! Today we’re releasing what is the last planned update to the game (v1.20). Here’s what we’ve changed:

  • New god-specific events;
  • Fixed bug when unlocking certain achievements;
  • Fixed bug when displaying the End Game screen;
  • Fixed several minor bugs and typing errors;

After 2 and a half years working on Anthropomachy, we can confidently say we’re more than happy with its results. As a 2-person team that faced so many struggles while developing our first game, we do consider Anthropomachy a huge accomplishment. It was awesome to see how our game captivated so many people to the point that you really cared about sending your ideas and feedback to make it better! Seriously, for all of you following our trajectory throughout Anthropomachy’s development, THANK YOU SO MUCH! The path was hard but you made it lighter showing your support. <3

Even though we have some other ideas that would improve Anthropomachy and to make it the grand strategy game it deserves to be, we also know that we have limitations to develop all the massive content it would need. So right now, we decided to finish the development of Anthropomachy. It is time for us to take a break and relax a bit after so much time of nonstop work on this project. In the future, with a bigger team, we hope to be able to revisit the game and make it achieve its true potential! 😀

2020: what to expect from Toy Box Lab

Anthropomachy is just the first of many games we want to develop. After a much needed break, we’ll be back with news from our new project <3 YAAAAAASSSS: we have already started pre-production for it! 😀 But right now we won’t be giving any tips about it. Let us have our much awaited break and we will be back full of energy to share it with you! 😉

Merry Christmas! Happy New year!

Once again, thank you all for your feedback, ideas, support, time and affection. Anthropomachy exists as it is because every time we were left down because of some new struggle, we would think about all of those who showed that they really cared about the game. For all of you, our best wishes of a lovely Christmas and a promising New Year! May 2020 be the year of our lives! 😀
